Anyone else going? Anyone go the Green Gathering? Are you one of the 23 people who viewed by last blog question about what it means to be Green but didn't reply?
Here we are at Green Friends but no one enters the debate about what it actually means to be 'green'.

The photo I've uploaded shows, at dusk, the 12 year old daughter of one of the people sharing the self-build house at C.A.T in Wales a few weeks ago. She's from London and just afterwards, we spent the last evening there gathering and identifying flowers for pressing. A kid from London enthralled like a latter-day Country Diary Edwardian Lady...
If we can enthral the next generation with nature, rather than lose them to consumerism, burger bars and computer games then we are surely more 'green' than just piously buying eco-products and recycled stationery.

Wise sentiment.
A way through is to keep ourselves from being a slave to the craziness of mass consumerism. It's really tough, so lighten up and forgive yourself! (This is not directed at anyone in particular-x)
It's the simple things in life, like the flower pressing and cloud watching that allow us to keep a soft touch. How else will we know one-another if we don't walk the walk and speak up about our beliefs?
